The Kidnapping: Evelyn Martinez has attended numerous writing classes and workshops at the University of Nevada, Reno, the University of California Berkeley Extension, and the Berkeley Repertory Theater. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of San Francisco and a Master of Nursing degree from the University of California, San Francisco. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in bioStories, The Charles Carter, Entropy, Ripples in Space, Rougarou, and Your Impossible Voice; her essay “If” has been nominated for a 2019 Pushcart Prize.

Fine Art: Kathleen Glassburn earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in Adelaide Literary Journal, Amarillo Bay, Belle Ombre, Blue Lake Review, Broad River Review, Cadillac Cicatrix, Cairn, Crucible, Epiphany Magazine, Flights, Nebo: A Literary Journal, Oracle Fine Arts Review, Rio Grande Review, riverSedge, SLAB, The Talon Mag, The Virginia Normal, Voices de la Luna, Wild Violet, and several other journals. My story “Picnics” was a finalist in Glimmer Train’s Best Start contest.

Foxes and Coyotes: Zach Murphy is a Hawaii-born writer with a background in cinema. His stories have appeared in Peculiars Magazine, Fifth on the Fifth, Emerge Literary Journal, The Bitchin’ Kitsch, Ghost City Review, Lotus-eater, WINK, Drunk Monkeys, and Fat Cat Magazine. He lives with his wonderful wife Kelly in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Family Friends: Kyra Kondis is an MFA candidate in fiction at George Mason University, where she is also the Assistant Editor-in-Chief of So to Speak Journal. Her work can be found in Wigleaf, Pithead Chapel, Jellyfish Review, and the Best Microfiction 2020, amongst others.

Types of Rain: Lucy Zhang is a writer masquerading around as a software engineer. She watches anime and sleeps in on weekends like a normal human being.
