About the Authors

Eternity at the Drive-In: Lisa Leibow's work has been published in CommuterLit, Diverse Voices Quarterly, Eleven Eleven, Folly, Griffin, Mulberry Fork, NoVA Bards, Pisgah Review, Red Rose, Rougarou, Sand Hill Review, and Sanskrit. She earned her master’s in writing with a concentration in fiction from Johns Hopkins University, and currently teaches writing at several schools, including George Washington University and Northern Virginia Community College. She's a Faulkner-Wisdom Award novel finalist, a two-time merit-based grant recipient, resident at the Vermont Studio Center, and the winner of Pitchapalooza D.C. In addition, she has attended several writer's conferences and was a member of the planning committee for the Washington Writer's Conference from 2017-2019. Currently, she holds leadership positions with both ShutUp&Write and the Johns Hopkins Writing Program Alumni Association.

The Significance of Gizzards: Ruth Q. Leibowitz lives in Portland, Oregon. She has had work published in *Coal City Review, Calyx, Peregrine, *and Soul-lit. She is a psychologist and T'ai Chi instructor, and co-facilitates short writing retreats that are based on the Amherst Writers and Artists method. She is grateful to her writing and poetry community for their existence and support.

Panting: Chaya Zwiebel is an emerging writer with only a few published pieces, most recently being a poem she won first place for and which was then published in an anthology called The Art of Gratitude. Chaya is also an undergraduate student in the BA English program at Florida Atlantic University. She lives in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with her wonderful wife and precocious daughter.

Disposal of Property: Sarah Starr Murphy is a writer and teacher in rural Connecticut. She’s an editor for The Forge Literary Magazine. Her stories have appeared or are forthcoming in The Baltimore Review, Opossum, Pithead Chapel, and several others.

Views from a Laundromat: Zach Murphy is a Hawaii-born, multi-faceted writer who somehow ended up in the charming, but often chilly land of St. Paul, Minnesota. His stories have appeared in Haute Dish, The Bitchin’ Kitsch, WINK, and the Wayne Literary Review. He lives with his wonderful wife Kelly and loves cats and movies.
