About the Authors

One Last Look (Cover Photo): Kelsey Stone is an amateur photographer currently living in Annapolis, Maryland. He is a frequent contributor to Five on the Fifth.

Square Peg: Frances Howard-Snyder teaches philosophy at Western Washington University, but prefers to explore ideas through fiction. She has published short stories at Magnolia Review, Birds We Piled Loosely, and other places. She is earning an MFA at Rainier Writing Workshop.

Evanescene: Nusrat Jahin Angela is an undergraduate student currently studying in the UK. A K-pop enthusiast, she hopes to tell relatable stories. By writing in various national and international mediums such as The Daily Star Bangladesh and The Courier, she writes with the aim to strike a chord with the audience and bring a smile. Fish Fry: Sara Truuvert is studying for her MLitt in Creative Writing at the University of St. Andrew's in Scotland. Sara’s creative work has appeared in The Literary Review of Canada, The Writing Disorder, and Cadaverine Magazine.

Prairie: JWGoll is a writer and artist currently working as a Patient Advocate at a large hospital in Durham, North Carolina. His stories are born of experiences as a photographer in Chicago, the Dakotas, and Central Europe. He has a degree in photography from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. As a sculptor and installation artist, he has been represented by galleries in Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, New York, and Chapel Hill, NC.
