About the Authors
Liberty (Cover Art): Nissa Riyas is a contemporary artist based in Dubai, but she is originally from India. She has been painting for the last 16 years. Even though Nissa started painting early in life, she realized that traveling around the world allowed her to find her inspirations. Nissa has visited hundreds of museums and works from old masters in order to find her own artistic identity and painting style.
The Separation: Alison McBain is an award-winning author with more than fifty short stories and poems published/forthcoming, including work in Litro, The Airgonaut and FLAPPERHOUSE. When not writing, Alison puts on her Book Reviews Editor hat for the magazine, Bewildering Stories.
For Best Results: Abigail Putnam is a recent MFA graduate from Arcadia University, just outside Philly, and her short stories have appeared in Maudlin House and Alban Lake Publishing, and are forthcoming in Dreaming Robot Press and The Dirty Pool.
That Family Festival: Arjun Shivaram is a Business Development Analyst and moonlighting writer. He is a two-time winner of the Best Creative Writer Award of the SSN Literary Club. In addition, Arjun won the chance to be co-author with noted writer and former UN diplomat Mr. Shashi Tharoor for the reputed newspaper, The Hindu’s 2016 international literary festival. The Hindu has published an article about Arjun's debut novel and its freshness to Indian literature.
