ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Relief: Anne Britting Oleson has been published widely on four continents. She earned her MFA at the Stonecoast program of USM. She has published two chapbooks, "The Church of St. Materiana" (2007) and "The Beauty of It" (2010). In the fall of 2015, a third chapbook, "Planes and Trains and Automobiles", is forthcoming from Portent Press (UK) and a novel, "The Book of the Mandolin Player", is forthcoming from B Ink Publishing.
Last Night in Saigon: Eric DePriester lives in Orange County, California. He is currently working on a novel, as well as contributing music literature and live reviews to MonsterFresh. He has previously published fiction in The 34th Parallel. His poetry has been published in On the Rusk and Stereo-Man 3D.
Smoke Rings: James Mulhern's fiction has been published in The Emerson Review, Persona Literary Journal, Short Story Magazine, Typehouse Literary Magazine, Marathon Literary Review, and FICTION. One of his pieces was published in "The Library's Best", a collection of short stories. In September of 2013, he was chosen as a Finalist for the Tuscany Prize in Catholic Fiction for his piece, "Assumptions". Six literary journals have accepted for publication adaptations/short stories from his novel-in-progress, a dark comic mystery set in Boston. Two of those short stories have received awards.
School of Minnows: Howard Halverson has a B.A. in English literature from San Francisco State University. He has worked as an English instructor and as a Managing Editor for Forum, a literary journal. "The End and the Echo", a novella, is Halverson's first effort at fiction writing, but poetry and criticism are also mainstays to his interests.
The Transitions: John K. Webb was born overseas in a military family. He has had work published in Aphelion, Entropy2, Alfie Dog, and Corvus.
